Exercise One
Put in the full stops in the paragraph below.

It was around 8:30 pm when the doorbell rang At this

hour Colin wondered who would be visiting His parents
were at a show in QRC It was just him and his puppy Mr
Snickers The bell rang again, then again He peeped
through his bedroom window from upstairs and he saw
an unfamiliar person standing at the front door He
wondered what he should do Maybe it was his
neighbour, Mrs Frank, she was an odd woman, but why
would she be ringing his bell this hour he questioned
himself It made absolutely no sense Reluctantly, Colin
went to the door and slowly opened it There he saw the
pizza guy standing, “Your bill is $16200” he informed
Colin in a rough tone Colin breathed a sigh of relief and
retrieved a hundred dollar bill along with 4
twenty-dollar notes from his pocket
