Lockout Port Relief Valves

Model VA20/35/80 lockout port relief valves
give the hydraulic circuit designer the ability to
have two pressure settings. These settings are
available at one work port in any of the
VA/VG20,35,80 valve work sections.
The relief valves are pilot operated and screw
adjustable with a pressure of 500 to 3500 PSI.
They also have a 3/8" O.D. tube pilot port in
the rear. Without pilot signal present at this
port, the unit operates as a port relief valve;
however, with a minimum pilot pressure of 700
PSI, the relief valve setting raises to approxi-
mately 4,000 PSI. At this point the main relief
valve is protecting the circuit. The maximum
pilot signal pressure is 2,500 PSI.
These features can be used on a recycling
truck to provide a low pressure sweep and a
high pressure eject with the same cylinder.
