Improvements and additions

1) Add NC program download function during run

The NC program can be changed without switching the operation mode of the PLC. The function
will operate according to the XMC O/S version, so please make sure you are using the latest version
of XMC O/S.

[Steps]

1. Create a new XMC-type project with the menu [Project] - [New Project].

2. Connect to the XMC module via the project menu [Online] – [Connect] and select
[Online] – [Change Mode] - [Run] to switch the PLC status to Run Mode.

3. Menu [Online] - [Write] allows you to write NC programs to the PLC without switching
modes.
 4. Refer to Error Code and Description below for errors related to downloading NC
programs during run.

2) Add ESI File Validation

Provides the ability to check the ESI (EtherCAT Slave Information) library associated with the XMC
family for abnormalities. Supports validation based on XML Schema Definition (XSD) and displays
blue text for the slave with errors in the ESI Library Window. You can perform an ESI file validation
to the slave shown by blue text. You can check the results of the ESI file validation in the Result
Window.

3) Changed the media default value of the XGL-EFMF(B) and XGL-EFMHB communication
module to "100M/FX/FULL".
 4) Improves Status Monitor Items of XMC

Enhancements have been made to keep items edited by Edit Monitor Item on the Status Monitor
when the project is reopened.

- Right-click on the Status Monitor -> Click Edit Monitor Item.

- In the Monitor Settings dialog box, position the items you want to show to the left and the
items you want to hide to the right, and then click OK.
 - Save the project file.
- When you open the project file again, the saved content is displayed in the Status Monitor
window.

5) Add I/O parameter input/output address display function

For the XGK (XGB) project, the input/output addresses are separately displayed.
 6) Add XGB-XBCXS CPU Module Type

XGB-XBCXS model has been added. Refer to the XGB-XBCXS manual for details of the model.

2. Error Correction

1) Fixed an error that XG5000 will close when clicking Preview in XMC model project printing.
