wer bouquet for him in the room as a pleasant surprise?

FORMAL SPEECH
A formal speech is a pre-planned speech that is given at a
hearing at a formal or professional event, with business
conferences and celebrations as weddings being the most
common.
Objective for a formal speech: convey a compelling or moving
argument.
Features: concise and focused on the topic of interest.
In addition to the content, fluid and secure
delivery is necessary to maximize the impact
words have.
FORMAL SPEECH
 Their complex sentences, generally elaborate, and the nominal phras
es are well structured, logically sequenced and strongly coherent.
Example:
“We have made fewer mistakes.” (Formal: “We made less mistakes.”)
“She’s liking it.” (Formal: “She likes it.”)
“I feel real good.” (Formal: I feel really good. ”)
 Public speakers should spend time in advance editing and rehearsing
their speech.
