Group: A number of people or things that are put together or


considered as a unit.

Team: A number of people or animals who do something together as a


group.

Organization: A group of people who work together in an organized way


for a shared purpose.

Institution: A large and important organization, such as a university or


bank.

Company: An organization that sells goods or services in order to make


money.

Community: The people living in one particular area or people who


are considered as a unit because of their common interests, social
group, or nationality.

Society: a large group of people who live together in an organized way,


making decisions about how to do things and sharing the work that
needs to be done.

Stimulus: Something that causes growth or activity.

Internal stimulus: An internal stimulus is often the first component of a


homeostatic control system.

External stimulus: External stimuli are capable of producing systemic


responses throughout the body, as in the fight-or-flight response.

Needs: The things you must have for a satisfactory life.

Wishes: An expression of kind feelings for someone, esp. on a


particular occasion or to want to do something.

Priority: Something that is very important and must be dealt with


before other things.

Accordance: Following or obeying a rule, law, wish, etc.

Ideas and beliefs: A suggestion or plan for doing something and the
feeling of being certain that something exists or is true.

Expectation: The feeling that good things are going to happen in the
future

Satisfaction: A pleasant feeling that you get when you receive


something you wanted, or when you have done something you wanted
to do.

Communication: The act of communicating with people. The process by


which messages or information is sent from one place or person to
another, or the message itself. Communication is also the exchange
of information and the expression of feeling that can result in
understanding.

Assertiveness: The quality of being confident and not frightened to


say what you want or believe.

Clarity: The quality of being clear and easy to understand.

Approach: To come near or nearer to something or someone in space,


time, quality, or amount.

Sense of organization: Shows that you have the focus, clarity, and strategic ability to
fulfill a variety of tasks successfully. Organizational sense has three accepted meanings.
The first accepted meaning relates to everydayness and ecologies of action. It has
collective, material, and informational dimensions, and is distributed between people and
objects. The second accepted meaning concerns the political dimension of performing a
professional activity and its sensitivity (attentiveness, discernment, etc.). The third
accepted meaning concerns ethics and examines loyalty toward an organization.

Group dynamics: Is a system of behaviors and psychological


processes occurring within a social group (intragroup dynamics), or
between social groups (intergroup dynamics). The three main factors
affecting a team's cohesion (working together well) are:
environmental, personal and leadership.

Sociogram: Is a graphic representation of social links that a person


has. It is a graph drawing that plots the structure of interpersonal
relations in a group situation.

Interview: A meeting in which someone asks you questions to see if


you are suitable for a job or course.

Work meeting: Aims at active participation or interaction between the


participants. The participants work and discuss on a predefined
theme or problem heading towards an outcome or target.

Organizational culture: As the underlying beliefs, assumptions, values


and ways of interacting that contribute to the unique social and
psychological environment of an organization.

Organizational commitment: Predicts work variables such as turnover,


organizational citizenship behavior, and job performance.

Core values: Are the fundamental beliefs of a person or organization.


These guiding principles dictate behavior and can help people
understand the difference between right and wrong. Core values also
help companies to determine if they are on the right path and fulfilling
their goals by creating an unwavering guide. There are many different
examples of core values in the world, depending upon the context.
