First, I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and your family in

healthy and happy life. After I met with a number of professors and

researchers from various scientific research institution in Indonesia, I tried to

propose several research options related to my dissertation topic and maybe

it could be in the form of collaboration joint research between MPEI

institution in Russia and institutions in Indonesia, and institutions in

Indonesia were ready became a place of research with funding from the

ministry of finance and higher education in Indonesia.

Here are some option of the research topics we have discussed:

1. the topic of power plants utilizing the thermionic electric converter system,

which is examining the phenomenon of heat transfer which is converted to

electricity at high temperatures above 900 0 C, with a relatively high

temperature then try using tantalum material which is also a study of our

research team, the research is carried out at the National Atomic Energy

Agency nuclear facilities in Jakarta - Indonesia.

2. Topic of renewable energy power plants with input of three resources from

sea wind, solar heat and ocean wave, while the results of the three power

generation are for cold storage of fish Hybrid system of electric and

refrigation absorbsion from sun heat , a research site on the coast of

Indonesia's western Java region, which has the potential of marine energy

power that has been recorded previously.

3. My Teaching colleagues on my campus who have been researching the

potential of thorium from tin slag, have interest from the Indonesian navy to

find power plant for thrust ship using thorium in nuclear plant, with your

country's experience in making nuclear submarines, I expect could be a

reference for this collaborative research, including the boiling phenomenon

in the Indonesian marine ship powered thorium steam turbine, also my

friend ”sulaksana Permana” interest to find post doc in Russia for continued

his previous research in thorium.

Those are some of the topics we are interested in becoming joint research

between MPEI institution and institutions in Indonesia, which me as phd

student and you as my Professor supervisor are involved in it, i hopes to be

realized as a technology transfer process in line with my work of Phd

program in Russia, to provide scientific and technological advance for
