The new corona virus can be transmitted from person to
person primarily by droplet infection. This can be done directly through the mucous membranes or indirectly through hands, which then come into contact with the oral or nasal mucosa and the conjunctiva. There are also known cases in which people who have only had mild or non- specific symptoms have contracted those affected. It is currently assumed that it can take up to 14 days after the infection to develop symptoms. On average, the incubation period is five to six days, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
