Do social networks "want our soul?

"
We’re waste a lot of time on the Internet. And thanks to mobile devices, we do it everywhere,
not just at home. I can say WITH confidence that my life is directly related to gadgets and online
connections, and I catch myself on the fact that i don't always control the time spent on the
internet. Sometimes I think this is OK in our days. But then I ask myself: why am I always short
of time? The answer is obvious. Instead of doing useful work, I’m watching the Instagram tapes.
I understand that in this way networks own our lives with our valuable time. What can I do
about it? The first step is realization that I can use this time 'on the Internet' for something
useful, thereby turning just wasting time into a learning new things. But in my defence, I'd like
to say that more often networks have a positive impact on me. And there is only to reduse their
harmful influence. We just need to control how we use technology – so that it does not control
us.
