Doing this practical has given us so many experiences and we have learnt
many things via this practical. First and foremost, we had learnt on how to
manufacture a label on top of the storage drive. After that, we had set the jumper
bank for storage drive configuration either it is a “Master” or “Slave” setting.
Moreover, we had noticed that the parallel ATA drive has a bank of jumpers and a 4-
pin power connector. We had also made a connection between the storage devices
and the motherboard. In addition, for the master connection, the storage settings the
master primary and master secondary and for the slave connection is the slave
primary and slave secondary. We had also made a connection between the storage
devices and the motherboard. We had to consider the master connection first before
attaching other devices because the master connection plays a major role. Then, we
had to assemble all the components in a desktop case according to the desktop
manual given. Nevertheless, we also formed a connection between the card and the
motherboard. At the end, with the help of a single screw we secured the card.

By completing this practical, there were certain objectives which waere

achieved. We are now able to:

 Define internal and external storage devices

 Configure internal and external storage devices
 Install display devices
 Identify basic input and multimedia devices
 Configure basic input and multimedia devices
And also to;
 Assemble all the components to build PC
