3.7. Reverse Osmosis unit

The water pressure will then be boosted to approximately 10 bar by multi-stage centrifugal
high-pressure pump (HPP) at the suction of the HPP, a low-pressure switch will be provided to
protect the pump from running dry. A high-pressure switch at the discharge of the HPP will
protect RO membranes from excessive operating pressure. The pressurized water will then
feed the RO membrane pressure vessels. 70% of the total feed will come out as RO permeate,
while the other 30% will flow out to reject water outlet through the concentrate header. The
total dissolved solid (TDS) of the RO permeate water will be monitored by a conductivity
controller.

Guarantee
❖ Our company guarantee the R.O unit for a full year against manufacture defects, but not
against wrong usage.
❖ Company will provide the unit maintenance and consumed parts should be replaced by our
company.

After –Sales Service

❖ Our company will arrange visits for the site along the guarantee period to check the unit and
filters backwash operations, while the customer will pay only for consumed parts.
