Dear Sir, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET), Patiala established in 1956 is recognised as one of the premier institutes in northern India for imparting quality engineering education in several disciplines. it was accorded the status of a deemed University in the year 1985 by the UGC and AICTE. One of the main features of our M. E Structural Engineering curriculum is that during the two-year postgraduate course, students are required to undergo Minor Design Project & Dissertation for one- year duration.
