The A380 can be fitted with two types of engines:

The Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engines power the world's largest airliner, the Airbus A380. The
Trent 900 was launched in February 2001. This type of engine is one of the most ambitious
engineering programs in the company's civil aerospace history.

The Trent 900 is the fourth member of the Trent family and holds pride of place as the largest
jet engine ever produced by Rolls-Royce.
