BWSSB TENDER KEY POINTS (3 Packages):

1. Ground water table must be considered at FGL instead of HFL as per NIT which itself
increase Base slab quantities by 10%
2. Minimum thickness of Walls and Base slabs for Liquid retaining structures is higher
compared to normal specifications (Min wall :250mm and Min base slab :300mm)
3. Min cover for walls and raft is 60mm which itself increase the thickness/reinforcement to
satisfy 0.1mm crack width.
4. Gabion walls and retaining walls are required for most of STPS which in general not be there
for other tender jobs.
5. RCC bridge and Coffer dam requirements are there for particular STPS since these STPS are
coming near to lake or adjacent to the lake.
6. Boundary wall has been required for future expansion area of ISPS/STPS in addition to the
plant layout area.
7. Break tanks, water for storing rainwater in addition to rainwater harvesting, drain sump and
Pumping station, connecting platforms to each unit in the STP are additional compared to
other tender jobs
