Al-Wakrah- Concreting to returf existing floor of Football ground/Bus parking area

1. Removal and disposal of the existing turf to the discretion of client

2. Relocating all underground services including but not limited to Electrical
lines, Telephone data, Water Connection and sewer lines and ensure its
functionability after relocation
3. Mechanical Cutting of all edges including concrete areas to straight line,
removal of kerbstone and stack it for reuse as per the discretion of client
4. Excavate the ground to a minimum depth of 27 cm ,carting away of excavated
earth to contractors choice , Levelling, Grading consolidating and compacting
the ground to a uniform level to 95% proctor value
5. Supplying and laying 1000 g polythene sheet over the Levelled, Graded
consolidated and compacted with 150 MM side, end laps and taped joints
6. Providing proper formwork in straight lines for the bay and all around
7. Providing and laying 20 N SRC grade concrete with 50 mm thickness for the
blinding cured using hezzian cloth for dampness
8. Provide reinforcement using 12mm bars/ A-393 mesh in two layers with
intermittent benching using 12mm diameter bars every two m2 area
(The bottom reinforcement mesh will be 40 mm above the consolidated
ground and the top reinforcement will be 30 mm below the finished concrete
level) Ensure proper construction joint with sufficient lapping to
reinforcement and provide additional dowel bars wherever necessary
9. Providing and laying 30 N SRC grade concrete using vibrator with top level
finished to proper line and levels using power float, for a minimum thickness
of 150mm in bays, size of each bay should not be more than 80 m2 and with
proper expansion joints, cured using hezzian cloth for dampness.
10. Provide concrete depth of 400mm all around the edges for a width of
300mm around the surrounding sides with additional reinforcement of 12
mm dia (lapping with wire mesh 200 MM spacing fastened to top and bottom
mesh)
11. Provide 20 mm dia dowel bars of 50-100 mm length with a capping of one
inch pipe sealed at one end leaving the room for expansion
12. Provide 18mm flexel board to fill the gap of expansion joint,2cm below the
finishing level and sealed with Polysulphide sealant BASF-Masterseal GG 470
or equivalent
13. Allow for all construction joints and isolation joints provided at corners to be
sealed with Polysulphide sealant BASF-Masterseal GG 470 or equivalent
14. Reinstating the ground to previous level to receive the artificial turfing
including reinstatement of kerbstones/wheel stopper etc. and cleaning the
premises by removing all construction materials, waste and filling with
appropriate items wherever necessary to adjoin with existing ground profile
