Jack and his mother were hungry. The cow in the barn gave them milk, but they needed
food. Jack’s mother said, we must sell the cow to get some food. Jack volunteered to take the cow
to town. Along the way, Jack met a farmer who talked him into giving up the cow in exchange for
a handful of good luck beans.
When Jack returned home, his mother was very cross because they lost their cow for a
few beans. She threw the beans out the window and went to bed. The beans began to grow straight
up into the sky, so Jack climbed the beanstalk hoping to find good luck at the top.
Instead, he found himself in a giant’s castle. The giant was counting his money and
singing, I like children in my tum. The giant’s wife helped Jack hide so the giant wouldn’t eat him.
Then Jack realized something and said, “Hey, this giant stole my father’s money!” The giant’s
wife said, “This magic hen and golden harp used to belong to your father too. Play the harp, and
then run!”
Jack played the harp, and the giant fell asleep. Jack grabbed the money and the hen and
started running. But on the way outside, he knocked over the harp and woke the giant up. The
giant chased Jack all the way down the beanstalk. When Jack reached the bottom, he chopped
down the beanstalk with an ax. The giant was no more. Then the magic hen clucked and laid a

money, and said, “now we’ll have something nice to eat.”

Ingredients
2 duck breasts, skin removed
For the marinade
Bring together all of the marinade ingredients in a mortar and pestle and grind to a
paste. Coat the duck with this marinade and allow to sit for at least 2 hours or
overnight before using.
Use a potato peeler to make long ribbon like lengths from the entire zucchini.
Place into a bowl and toss with a generous pinch of salt and allow to sit for five
minutes before rinsing with cold water. Lay the zucchini out on kitchen paper and
pat dry.
Meanwhile, heat a grill pan over medium to high heat. Grill the lime halves till
caramelised on the surface.
Grill the duck starting fat side up for 1-3 minutes, flip and repeat, or until cooked to
your liking. Remove and allow to rest for at least 4 minutes.
While the duck is resting bring together in a large mixing bowl the zucchini,
macadamia nuts, sliced chilies, shallots, mint and basil. Drizzle the coconut oil, a
squeeze of grilled lime juice and a good pinch of salt and pepper and toss to
combine.
Slice the duck slightly on the diagonal and arrange on a plate with the dressed
zucchini salad.

Penguins are aquatic, flightless birds that are highly adapted to life in the water. Their distinct
tuxedo-like appearance is called countershading, a form of camouflage that helps keep them safe in the
water. Penguins do have wing-bones, though they are flipper-like and extremely suited to swim.
Penguins have various body size depending on their species. The largest Penguin,
The Emperor Penguin, can reach the size of 1,1 m with the weight of 35 kg or more. The smalles Penguin,
the Little Blue Penguin, can reach the size of 40 cm and the weight of 1 kg. Some others species such as
King Penguin, Gentoo Penguin, Magellanic Penguin and Yellow-eyed Penguin are vary between those size.
The head of Penguins resemble the head of a bird with a beak in front of it and eyes on each side of
the head. They have two wings that function as flippers which help them to swim. Their foot is similar to
duck’s foot, this also support them in the water. They have a wide and short tail. The tail and wings help
them to keep their balance when they are walking on the ground. The color of their inner body is white and
the color of their back is dark (usually black). This turns out to be a camouflage that protect them from
predator when they are under water.
Penguins can spend up to 75% of their lives in the water. They do all of their hunting in the water.
Their prey can be found within 60 feet of the surface, so penguins have no need to swim in deep water.
They catch prey in their beaks and swallow them whole as they swim. Some species only leave the water
for molting and breeding.
