About PP Savani University.

P P Savani Education Trust was launched in 1987, initially with a school, which over
the years expanded itself with a group of schools in Surat district with a student
strength of more than 45,000.
In 2016, the Trust has expanded its horizon with the launch of P P Savani University,
as an initiative in higher education aligned with global standards of excellence.
Through this immersive educational endeavour, the Governing body aims to
introduce South Gujarat to a new era in higher education and create a talent pool of
professionally sensitised industry-ready professionals. A world class 100 acre campus
has been developed which embodies an infrastructure facilitating undergraduate,
postgraduate, research, certificate and skill-development programmes.
About School of Design.

School of Design (SoD) offers the B.Des and B.ID curriculum that emphasizes
the skills and knowledge of design education. Where one can find their own
balance between craft, vision, and self-expression within the context of real
industrial need.
Design is continuous creative process which includes thinking, brainstorming,
ideation and coming up with final outcome/object which is more comfortable
to use and aesthetically more pleasing.
When Harold Nelson says that ‘Humans did not discover fire, they designed it’
he gives us an insight into what design activity really means.
About Decipline.

Product design is a combination of art and engineering; drawing skills, creativity

and technical knowledge are critical. Industrial Product designers are responsible
for the look of many of the products bought, used and consumed every day - from
cars, phones, lighting and furniture, to essential medical equipment. A Product
designer considers the usability, Ergonomics and aesthetics of common mass-
produced items and works to improve the design, function, engineering and
marketing of these Items. Design students focus on understanding human
behaviour to develop products of optimal style and function.

perceive in its appearance throughout nature its almost
everywhere your eyes goes in the universe.

• Prelude to the learning of design Process.

• Brings out and promotes the learner’s potential for aesthetic ,

sensitivity and their logical application.
❖ Assignments

• I was assigned to draw golden ratio , few different methods of golden

spiral , and Golden spirals from different forms like ,Triangle, pentagon,
hexagon , etc…

• A detailed information is in the images of geometry sheets drawn attached

ahead as apart of scribbles/ sketches.
❖ Scribles/Sketches

• Drawing Golden Ratio , spiral from different points, and little glimpse
of isometric drawing.

❖ Future Scope

• It can help , developing a new perspective of learning from nature, and

its form , where geometry resides in its natural forms.
