Subject : Event Management SYMMS

Course outcomes mean outcomes of a subject. These can be based on the learning outcomes provided
by the University for respective subjects.

Following correlation matrix needs to be formed and filled by all the faculties for their respective
subjects.

Each faculty needs to frame 4 to 6 outcome for every subject and correlate the same with
programme outcomes. The correlations needs to be on a rating scale of 1 to 3, 3 indicates high
correlation, 2 indicates medium correlation and 1 indicates low correlation.

Programme Outcomes:

P1 =Apply knowledge of management theories and practices to solve business problems.

P2 = Foster Analytical and critical thinking abilities for data-based decision making.

P3 =Ability to develop Value based Leadership ability.

P4 =Ability to understand, analyse and communicate global, economic, legal, and ethical
aspects of business.

P5 = Ability to lead themselves and others in the achievement of organisational goals,


contributing effectively to a team environment.

Example for Course Outcome of Financial Accounting subject: Student will be able to prepare financial
statements on their own.

C1 = To understand basic concepts of event management


C2= Developing a conceptual framework for events.
C3= To understand various aspects of planning events from the perspective of execution.
C4= To understand the financial aspects of conducting an event
C5= Compliance of requirements for successfully organizing an event.
C6= To develop an understanding of event marketing
