HARDWARE PREREQUISITES
The following is the hardware system requirements for both the desktop and the
server. SAP LUMIRA 2X should meet the minimum requirements in order to work
stable into your system.
We recommended you to upgrade your system by following the information given
in the table below. Also we prefer to you to use a Standalone system and install
SAP LUMIRA 2X into it.

SOFTWARE PREREQUISITES
 SAP Lumira 2X license will be compulsory
 Database (MS SQl / SAP HANA) will be compulsory.

 INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION
Installation
The SAP Lumira installation wizard confirms that all prerequisites are met before starting to
install the application.
For a quicker installation, ensure that the following requirements are met before starting:

 The correct installation package is available for your 64-bit operating system.
 You have Administrator rights.
 Sufficient disk space is available.
Configuration
Configuration will be followed after successful installation of the software. The prerequisite
drivers for that particular databases will be installed in order to make connection with that
particular database. The driver’s version will vary by the SQL database version. Like for
Microsoft SQL database the JDBC Driver 7.0 or later must be installed on the machine where
the SAP Lumira is installed.
After the installation of drivers the linking of this analytics software with that database will be
made. Connection of this both will require particular information from the client side which
includes:
1. Database Username
2. Database Password
3. Server IP address or Port Number
4. Database Name on which the visualization will be developed
Development:-

BUSINESS REQUIREMENT DOCUMENTATION (BBP)

In this phase we will be gathering the client’s requirement from which you wants us to develop
the reports. So from the developer will request a documentation from client mentioning the
relevant information on which the reports will be build

We will go through the documentation and will research on that by meeting with our technical
and functional consultants. This phase will require your support for latter development of the
reports.

We will consult you for the requirements you have proposed will be useful for the development
of the visual reports. More information will be further needed if that didn’t get full filled by us.

PROJECT REALIZATION
After getting the details of your requirements will be understood from the functional aspects.
We will go through the details you have mentioned into that document and will check for the
feasibility.

Followed by this we will start collecting the technical requirements from our technical
consultant and finally the query development will be executed.
That development phase completion will be matched with your requirements and testing will
be done from our side.
After the successful testing we will take your signature on the sign off page.

Dashboard Designing and Development

The development of visualization reports will be initiated after your approval.

The basic structure of the report will be decide from our side which will include the linking of
database and SAP Lumira followed by data optimization and manipulation to carry out the best
possible information. This will help us for the development of Visualization and Storyboards.

Finally the testing will be done by our side in the last phase of the development.
Deployment:-

Client Side Testing

The testing phase from your side will be mandatory. This will help you for rectification of errors
present in the reports. Also you have to match the reports in SAP Lumira with your current
reports. This will help us to better serve you and also useful for further changes if required in
this reports.

Go Live and Sign off (Completion)

Finally in the end after successful implementation of all the reports and storyboards the sign off
document will be signed by your side for the project completion and the project will be go live
in the end.
