More About the ITIL Foundations Exam
This lesson covers what is needed to pass the ITIL certification exam. Remember:
 The exam is 40 multiple choice questions
 A score of 65% (26/40) is needed to pass
 1 hour time limit (75 minutes plus a dictionary if you are not taking it in your native language)
 Computer based
 Successful examinees get a ITIL Foundation pin and certificate
The instructor also offers the following 10 tips for studying:
1. Review and study any weak areas
2. Research and read other ITIL documentation on the web
3. DON’T study the night before the exam or on the day of the exam
4. Calm down, relax, breathe, meditate and don’t stress out
5. Arrive at the test facility at least 30 minutes early
6. Eat a good breakfast or light lunch, depending on your exam time
7. Don’t memorize any brain dumps
8. Do make flash cards and memorize those
9. Get a good night’s rest the night before the exam
10. Be CONFIDENT!
