1. The relationship between the Fibonacci sequence and the golden ration is almost direct.
This is because if you have two successive numbers from the Fibonacci numbers, the
ration you will get is very close to the golden ration. And as the sequence goes higher, the
closer its ratio gets to 1.61803398.
2. An example of Fibonacci sequence is 13, 21, 34, 55, … To compute for the next numbers
of the sequence, you must get the sum of the two numbers before it. In the example
given, the next number in the sequence would be 89 because when you add 34 and 55,
you will get 89.
3. Mathematics in nature basically means mathematics is all around us. It cannot only be
seen in books, notebooks, or inside the classroom as we discuss numbers and equations.
It can also be seen in one’s creativity and the things around us. Therefore, mathematics is
invented by nature. Mathematics, such as Fibonacci sequence and golden ration, can be
seen in animals and plants even though numbers are not totally seen in their figure. The
patterns in nature are simply mathematics as they reflect the Fibonacci sequence and the
golden ratio.
