Early life[edit]
Kisses Delavin came from a prominent family in Masbate City involved in various
businesses such as hotels and trading. Kisses is of Filipino, Spanish and Chinese
descent. Her father, Gilbert Delavin is originally from San Fernando, Masbate while her
mother, Carrie Delavin (née Tan) is from Legazpi, Albay. Her mother conceived eight
times and she was the only one who survived. Her family moved from Quezon City to
Masbate shortly after her birth. At age 6, she was stricken with viral encephalitis. She
fell into a coma but miraculously recovered after 24 hours without any lifelong damage. [1]
Education[edit]
Delavin attended Jose Zurbito Sr. Elementary School and completed her secondary
education in Masbate National Comprehensive High School. She went to De La Salle
University and took up a degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. In 2016, she
filed a leave of absence to venture on a career in show business. In 2019, she
continues her college degree at the same said school. [citation needed]
Career[edit]
Delavin was cast several times as a model in various Natasha campaigns. [2] She held a
cameo role in the 2015 teleserye Pangako Sa 'Yo.
She was a pageant winner from Masbate, having won Miss Kaogma prior to
joining Pinoy Big Brother in 2016.[3] She was also crowned Miss Masbate Province
earlier that year.
In its 7th season, she was the second female teen housemate to enter the Pinoy Big
Brother house. During the teen edition, she was announced the 2nd Lucky Sun,
garnering the highest votes from the public, 48.53%. [4] She was included in the Lucky 7
of the Dream Team edition and was eventually named 2nd Big Placer during the Big
Night.
Delavin has appeared on episodes of Gandang Gabi, Vice!, Tonight with Boy
Abunda, It's Showtime, ASAP, Magandang Buhay, Umagang Kay Ganda, Rated K,
and Matanglawin.
Together with Marco Gallo, she was the Myx Celebrity VJ for the month of July 2017.
Collectively known as "KissMarc", they also starred in Young JV's music video for the
song "Kulay". They appeared together on several online and print materials, public
engagements and as each other's love interest on various ABS-CBN TV shows and
movies. Despite the success, the team-up ended following a controversial interview in
the online show, Kapamilya Chat.
In October 2017, Delavin signed a contract under Star Music. She was the first official
artist under the music sub-label, Star Pop. Tickets to her self-titled grand album launch
on November 2017 sold out within 30 minutes. More than 15,000 units of her album
were sold the day prior to its launch. She formally received her gold and platinum
certifications from PARI on the January 21, 2018 episode of ASAP.[5]
In February 2018, her first solo sold out concert was held in the KIA Theatre, guested by
Sam Milby, Karla Estrada, Marlo Mortel and Tony Labrusca.
In 2018, Delavin was one of the regular hosts of ASAP Chillout.
She appeared on the front cover of MEGA magazine's March 2018 issue. The shoot
was held in Prague, Czech Republic.
She was paired with Donny Pangilinan for the movies Walwal and Fantastica. They also
starred in the romantic comedy daytime drama, Playhouse.
For two consecutive years (2017-2018), Kisses was among the top 10 most tweeted
celebrities in the Philippines.[6][7]
In April 2019, she had her 2nd solo sold out concert entitled 'A Life Full Of Kisses' held
in Music Museum.
In November 2019, Delavin left Star Magic and signed with APT Entertainment and
Triple A Management, which manages GMA Network actresses Maine
Mendoza and Marian Rivera.[8]
In December 2019, she is now a non-exclusive talent of ABS-CBN and currently GMA
Network after joining APT and Triple A. She now appears in Kapuso shows and did her
first major acting role in a mermaid-themed episode of Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko as
Oceana.

After her stint in Pinoy Big Brother, she became the newest brand ambassador
for Palmolive and Colgate. She is also one of the celebrity endorsers for Bench clothing.
On September 2017, she was announced as one of the Vivo celebrity ambassadors
during the launching of the Vivo V7+ mobile phone.
Kisses is one of the faces for Vice Cosmetics, owned by Vice Ganda. On October 2017,
a grand launch for the brand was held in Araneta Colliseum.
She was one of the celebrity influencers for Coca-Cola, Vans shoes and Lucky me
Pasta.
She joined Donny Pangilinan as one of the endorsers for YOYOSO Philippines.
