Time Motivation and Introduction:
8:50 Student sitting at secluded table such as in wet area
Activate prior Knowledge (with the use of questioning): So what did we do in
our last lesson in the wet area? Etc. Flash cards
Flash cards: The student will then be shown Flash cards with multiplication
and division sums and the student will reply with the answer, this is focusing
on improving the students mental computation. Example sums may include:
6x6=36, 36/6=6
Flash cards will be used as a strategy to see if there is any improvement from
the first intervention lesson.
Paper
Textas
Lesson Steps (Lesson content, structure, strategies & Key Questions): Dice
8:55 Creation of own board game:

The student will be shown an example self created board game that includes
Multiplication and division within the board game.

The student will then be given the freedom to create his own board game.

Lesson Closure:(Review lesson objectives with students)

9:15 Journaling: What is multiplication with a example? What is Division with an
example? Students journal

Do you feel you understand what Multiplication and Division are?

Transition: (What needs to happen prior to the next lesson?)

9:20 Student packs away any items they bought with them to the intervention
lesson, and heads back inside to class, to continue on with the usual day.

Assessment: (Were the lesson objectives met? How will these be judged?)
