Fake News Circulating the Internet

There are circulating news about the SARS-Cov 2 virus that it won’t survive hot climate and that

the possible cure for this virus is banana.

These fake news have caused complacency to some countries and one of them is the Philippines

where most of its constituents shared links and spread the news that the virus cannot survive on

hot climates. The WHO (World Health Organization) debunked this theory saying that there is

nothing to prove this yet and the best possible way to not contract the virus is through constant

sanitation.

( I wasn’t able to find those fake news links that are prevalent during the start of the pandemic

that supported this fake news maybe because they we’re deleted by facebook regulators to avoid

panic.)
One of the latest fake news circulating the net is that bananas can cure the said virus, that is why

people flocked to the market and bought as many bananas as they could. It is said that Australian

researchers have founded the cure for the virus and it is made of bananas, though bananas can

strengthen your immune system it is not proven to cure the SARS-CoV 2 virus.

With these fake news circulating the internet let us all be vigilant and check the sources of the

contents that we want to share. Stay safe, healthy, and hydrated. Stay at home too, it is not just

for yourself but for other people.
