Thesis statement: Reasons and Consequences of Child

Marriage in Pakistan.
Purpose: To provide the audience with an insight towards the
awareness of the demerits of child marriage by highlighting its
reasons and consequences.
Attention Getter: Let’s jump back in time, when you just
graduated your O’levels or matriculation. Imagine, your
parents, when you reach home, sit you down and tell you that
as you’ve reached a satisfying milestone in life it’s time that you
get married…

statistics, primary targets and age brackets of child
marriage.

Conclusion: To sum up, due to deep rooted reasons and

consequences of child marriage, it is not possible to
address it easily or swiftly. Huge issues like poverty,
illiteracy and gender inequality cannot be eradicated
instantly and require persistent and comprehensive
planning and policy.
So think again, now that you know the stern
consequences of child marriage, what would be your
answer to the question your parents asked?
