 We can describe WEATHER the weather using verbs:

The sun is shining: El sol está brillando       

It's drizzling (light rain): Está lloviznando (lluvia suave)  

The wind is blowing: El viento está soplando    

It's raining (The rain is falling.): Está lloviendo (La lluvia está cayendo)

It's hail (hail stones): Cae granizo    

It's snowing (The snow is falling.): Está nevando      

It's thundering and lightening: Está tronando y relampagueando

 We can describe the weather using adjectives:

It's freezing or it’s a freezing day: Hace mucho frío o es un día helado:

It's warm or It's a warm day: Hace calor o es un día cálido.

It's cloudy or It's a cloudy day: Está nublado o es un día nublado.                       

It's cold or It's a cold day: Hace frío o es un día frío.

It's sunny or It's a sunny day: Esta soleado o es un día soleado.                           

It's clear or It's a clear day: Está despejado o es un día despejado.                             

It's stormy or It's a stormy day: Esta tormentoso o es un día tormentoso.

It's misty or It's a misty day: Es brumoso o es un día brumoso.                            

It's foggy or It's a foggy day: Hay niebla o es un día de niebla.

It's breezy or It's a breezy day: Es ventoso o es un día ventoso                          


It's windy or It's a windy day: Hace viento o es un día ventoso.

It's showery or It's a showery day: Es lluvioso o es un día lluvioso.           

It's rainy or It's a rainy day: Llueve o es un día lluvioso.

It's frosty or It's a frosty day: Es helado o es un día helado.                           

It's snowy or It's a snowy day: Esta nevando o es un día nevado.

It's icy or It's an icy day: Está helado o es un día helado                                      

It's drizzly or It's a drizzly day: Está lloviznando o es un día lluvioso.

It's dry or It's a dry day: Está seco o es un día seco
