She Have A Cancer

“RINGGGG!!!”. The school bell rang and all the students run to their respective classes.
But there was a girl still walking, ignoring the sound of the bell. The girl named Aisyah and all
the people in school recognized her. Aisyah was the happy-go-lucky type of person. She had
never taken her studies seriously. She came from a rich family and was often spoiled by her
parents. Her parents never cared about her because they were too busy working. One day,
there was a new girl moving into Aisyah’s class. The girl named Azizah and was exactly the
opposite compared to Aisyah. She was quiet and serious in her studies. She often performed
well in academic.

One fine day, Aisyah was transferred by her class teacher to another seat. At the same
time she had to sit beside Azizah. No words could describe her annoyance on that time but she
needs to get along. She was not interested sitting beside Azizah. Since Azizah was only
interested in the schoolwork, Aisyah consider her a bookworm and believed that it would be
extremely boring to be in her company. To worsen the matter, Aisyah really hates sitting in the
front seat because being seated so close to the teachers meant that she would constantly be
under their watchful eyes. After sitting next to Azizah for a month, Aisyah realized Azizah was a
very nice person.

Aisyah found that Azizah was very helpful, especially in explaining additional
mathematical problems. As she was weak in that subject, Azizah was always willing to lend her
a helping hand when she needed it. Not only that, Azizah was also a loyal friend who keep
motivated Aisyah when she had a rough time. Aisyah always had family problems. Azizah came
from a poor family but she lived happily despite all the shortcomings. However, lately Azizah
has often avoided meeting Aisyah. Azizah often comes to school late and sometime she not
comes at all. When Aisyah asked about that, Azizah refused to tell the truth until one day Azizah
collapsed at the school. Azizah was brought to the hospital by the ambulance for the treatment.

At the hospital, a doctor came towards Aisyah and told her that Azizah was diagnosed
with brain cancer. The day Azizah was diagnosed with cancer was the beginning to her journey
of chemotherapy, surgeries, blood transfusions, radiation, and scans of every sort. The doctor
told Aisyah that the cancer started when Azizah overly used her brain. Her stress was at the
highest level. Azizah became a passive person and lost the spirit to continue her life. She
became more down when she knew that her mom had worked very hard to collect money for
her surgery. She did not want her mother worked so hard because her mother was very old. So,
Azizah made a decision to stop all the treatment and also the surgery.

Aisyah felt so sad seeing her best friend go through such hard times at such a young
age. So, she asked her parents to lend some money for Azizah’s surgery. She wanted Azizah
be healthy and happy again. She has quietly paid Azizah treatment costs and Azizah
successfully performed the surgery. Azizah became happy again when she saw her mother’s
smile. She can go to school again with Aisyah and both of them studied so hard to become the
best student. However, Azizah still need to go through her chemotherapy. Azizah was extremely
grateful to have a best friend like Aisyah. Now she realise the value of a true friend.
