Acid Rain Cycle

Cycle acid rain almost the same with the cycle of rain in general formed through a
process. There are a variety of activities that cause a variety of the cause of acid rain include
carbonmonoksida, dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and hydrogen sulfur.

The process of the acid rain it starts from the evaporation water from a variety of water
sources caused because of the hot sun, after that water vapor is met with the gas CO 2, CO, then
produce acid is a weak, when the water vapor met with sulfur dioxide and hydrogen sulfur will
produce acid is a strong.

Then water vapor has mingled with gas-gas that experience compaction and became a
little cloud clouds, then the little carried by the wind and joined into the clouds. The water vapor
will experience saturation and dropped dots water into the rain. The rain that called acid rain.
The rain down the place is far from the source of having been carried away by the wind.
 Acid rain results when sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOX) are emitted into
the atmosphere and transported by wind and air currents. The SO2 and NO X react with water,
oxygen and other chemicals to form sulfuric and nitric acids. These then mix with water and
other materials before falling to the ground.

rainwater has a pH of around 5.6. This is in fact slightly acidic, because carbon dioxide (CO 2) in
the air dissolves in raindrops to form carbonic acid (H 2CO3). So, pure rainwater is naturally
already slightly acidic. Acid rain forms when high concentrations of sulphur dioxide (SO 2) and
nitrogen oxides (NOX) dissolve in raindrops to form sulfuric acid (H 2SO4) and nitric acid
(HNO3). The pH of the rainwater therefore decreases below pH 5 and becomes acid rain.

Acid rain occurs in industrial areas when the atmosphere is very polluted with smoke
from very large numbers of factories and cars. The chemicals present in smoke pollution dissolve
in the water in clouds to produce rainwater that is acidic. Acid rain can only happen in very
polluted places where there is so much smoke you cannot see a clear sky.
