CHARACTERIZATION AND WEAR BEHAVIOR OF TIO2 COATED WITH MILD STEEL
In the present day study, the mild steel has quoted with Titanium oxide as top coat by
using spray coating techinique and the coating thickness is varied as 100,200 and 300um. Then
the coated specimens have subjected to wear test under different loading conditions I,e 10N, 20N
and 30N. Also the Coated & tested specimens have been characterized by SEM Test.These
coating are aimed at improving surface properties against corrosion

Pursing “Machine Tool Design Mechanical” an 8 weeks training program meat Indian
Machine Tool Manufacturers Association (IMTMA) Design Institute from 06 August 2018 to
29 September 2018.Machine tool design comprehensive programme structured from engineering
basic to a complete machine design on a par with industry standards.

DESIGN OF CNC TOOL AXIS TURNING CENTER,A PROJECT CARRIED OUT
RIGHT FROM CONCEPT TO FINAL MACHINE DESIGN.

 Design of CNC lathe right from customer input and feedback machine concept and
specification
 Preliminary design calculations for cutting forces and power requirement, Spindle design
,Axis design and Structural design
 Calculations on bearing life, spindle stiffness ,V-belt & pulley ,selection of anti friction
bearings, selection and calculations on ball screw & LM guideways ,casting design is
being discussed in depth with hands on practice
 In addition overview of machine hydraulics & pneumatics of machine tool is added to
enhance the knowledge on machine tool design
