Suspect Franklin committed the offense by participating in the robbery of during which the complainant was shot and killed. Duringthe offense, the complainants cll phone was stolen. The: complainant i in this. offense is Hosia Abdallah B/M| On February 19, 2020 at approximately 10:50 P.M, Dalles Police patrol officers responded to a shooting call at 12619 hipiter Road #615. Upon arrival, the patrol officers located the complainant Abdallah deceased in the kitchen area of his apariment: Complainant Abdallab’s roommate, Witness IMI formed officers that he was inside the apartment at the ime of the shooting, Witness jwas interviewed and he stated he was in his bedroom when he heard Complainant Abdallah speaking with a female.-Witness ated he then heard gunshots, at which time be jumped out of his bedroom window ~ and rast his vehicle. Wites ted he drove to the front of the apartment complex and callod a friend. Witness stated while he was parked near the entrance gate to the apartment complex, he observed a blue or gray colored. White #7682, obtained cell phone. records for Complainant Abdalla whic showed his cellphone registering of Wynn Joyce Drive and Broadway Boulevard in Garland, Texas shortly after __ A Complsna ‘Abdallah's murder:'Complainant Abdallah’s cell-phone then teaisteted off of cell phone towers neat Eastern Hills Park in Garland, Texas at approximately 10:56 P.M: which2yas shoitly-after Complainant-Abdallah’s murder Gofnplairiant Abdallah’s phone last registered off of a cell tower approximately 430 yards 5c: 0 Texas, Detective White and Detective B. Tabor ‘ei, searched for video in the area of Wynn Joyce Drive and Broadway Boulevaid and-were able to obtain video which show a gray cdlored Jeep’ Wrangler travelling eastbound on La Prada Drive and pass through the intersection of Wynn Joyce Drive and Broadway Boulevard several minutes after the murder. Detective White Golidiicted research aad discovered that Suspect McKiiney’s Wife, MME has 4 Jeep Wrangler repisiered in her name. Detective B. King #9488, is also conducting an-untelated murder investigation and Suspect MoKinney is a suspect in that case, ‘Through the course of her investigation, Detective King located and photographed the gray Jeep Wrangler that is registered to Suspect McKinney's wife, at : , Detective White received multiple anonymous tips thatthe people responsible for the death of Complainant Abdallah were Synthia Franklin and David McKinney. The anonymous witnesses stated that Synthia Franklin set Complainant Abdallah up to bbe robbed by David McKinney. The anonymous witnesses informed Detective White that Syntaia Franklin had two Facobook accounts ‘The anonymous witnesses also informed Detective White that David McKinney had a Facebook account under the name] Detective White searched for the accounts of Sfnthia Franklin and they appear to belong io the same person. Detective White obtained Facebook records for Complainant Abdallah. A search of ~~ the reconis showed Complainant Abdallah. be.fiiends with ‘Complainant Abdsllah*s Facebook records-also — showed that Complainant Abdallah had searched for ‘While analyzitig Suspect McKinney’s phone records, Detective Tabor located multiple text messages between Suspect McKinney's phone and a phone number believed to belongF2075687 STATE OF TEXAS AFFIDAVIT FOR ARREST WARRANT | COUNTY OF DALLAS to Synthia Franklin shortly before Complainant Abdallah wes killed, which corroborates the witnesses statements. Detective Tabor had obtained a phone number for Suspect McKinney in an unreleted investigation: EM Derective White obtained a phone number for Suspect McKinney from a witness whose name is being withheld at this time for their safety. The phone number provided by the unnamed witness matches the phone number that Detective Tabor has for Suspect ‘McKinney. Detective White obtained cell phone records for Suspect McKinney. Detective Tabor was able to examine Suspect ‘McKinney's cell phone records which show Suspect McKinney's cell phone registering off of towers near Complainant ‘Abdallah’s apartment around the time Complainant Abdallah was killed. Detective Tabor was able to examine both Complattian; Abdalian’s cell phone records and Suspect McKinney's cell phone records and both phones mitror each other"s path after she nqusder to an area near where Suspect McKinney lives. Both Complsinant Abdallah’s phone and Suspect McKinney's phone show to be near the intersection of Wynn Joyce Drive and Broadway Boulevard at approximately 10:54 PM. ‘On April 7, 2020, Suspect McKinney was arrested for his warrant related to this offense. Suspect McKinney was transported +0 Dallas Police Headquarters to be interviewed. Prior to the interview, Suspect McKinney was read his “Miranda Warning,” and he agreed to speak with Detective White. During the interview, Suspect McKinney admitted to being in the area of the ‘offense on the night of the offense. Suspect McKinney also stated he was with JI whose true identity is Synthia Franklin, Suspect MeKinnoy further stated they were driving his Jeep Wrangler on this night.
