To Whom It May Concen
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter for Melissa Nye. I have known Melissa for the
last five years as the head coach of the sofibail team at the University of Pitsburgh-Bradford.
During the time I have known her, Melissa has been a true example of a student-athlete, She
works hard, on the field and in the classroom.
Melissa is a very dedicated, loyal person with a great work ethic. She possesses an inner drive
which will ensure here success. During the time I have known her, Melissa has been a true
example of a student-athlete. She has fought through injury to continue to play softball, while
also excelling in the classroom. These two combinations made her a team captain in her senior
year, a privilege I don't take lightly and haven't given the ttle much the last few seasons.
Thave seen her in working with her teammates, She has a desire 1o assist those around her,
which is someone I would want to work with and have in my organization. I have also seen her
work with our clinic participants, she is compassionate, kind and offers great instruction. You
see that she has a strong passion for educating.
She has been very involved in her major, Early Level Education (PreK — 4) here on campus
‘She has been involved and organized in the Education Club, Her experiences have challenged
her and she is very confident in herself and her abilities.
Melissa is a young professional who has found success while a student-athlete here at the
University of Pitsburgh-Bradjord. She has even greater promise for the future. If Tcan
provide any further information, please contact me at imp14(wpiti.edu or 814.362 5086,
