The biggest thing out of Thailand An Elephant Orchestra was

make by David Sulzer or Dalid Soldier. David Sulzer is a American
neuroscientist and a musician. He is also a professor at Columbia
University Medical Centerin the Department’s of Psychiatry,Neurology,
and Pharmacology. Dave Soldier is only a Stage Name, he is known
as a composer and musician in a varietyof genres including
Avant-garde, classical, and jazz. Dave Sulzer make the Elephant
Orchestra because of the instinct of the animals. He said that the
elephant love to hear music every morning. That’s why he make the
Elephant Orchestra. He use the Thai Elephant because they are
trained of some Thailand People and he use the thai music to teach
the elephants to play. Dave Sulzer experement how he teach the
elephant to play the instrument. He think about the Gamelan
Instrument to how the elephant can play it. He teach first how to hold
mallets with their trunks and sometimes trumpeting along with their
trunks. Then he use the thai scale so the thailand people will love how
the elephants play.

Thai Elephant Orchestra is a musical ensemble consisting of as

many 14 Thai Elephant from Northern Thailand. The ensemble use a
Specially designed Heavy-Duty Music Instrument thath the Thailand
people make it like the Gamelan Instrument. The orchestra was
created by Elephant conservationist Richard Lair of the national
Elephant Institute and Dave soldier. The orchestra released three (3)
album. Thai Elephant use the Lanna Thai five-note scale,and most
instrument are heavy-duty versions of traditional Thai Musical
Instrument some additional instrument are drums and melodica.

Thai Music has a different type of music but the traditional music
for them is Gamelan Music it has a different kind of music in western
music. The Gamelan Instrument is from asia. Buddhist music is must
created for inspired by Buddhism. The Elephant Orchestra is playing
some like a Buddhist music like some Thailand people play went they
celebrate a festival for their buddhist.

The Thai scale is very different in western music because they

only use three consecutive tones, skipped tone, two consecutive tones,
and a skipped tone, also they use pentatonic scale that’s why if
someone want to hear the instrument he/she can hear the instrument
he want to hear because all of the instrument has different kind of tone.
Zoomusicology is field with musicology and zoology. The
Zoomusicology is the study of music of animals that David Suzer has
been using to Elephant Music because of the Elephant culture that the
trainer of the elephant use to sing so the elephant being relax and the
elephant will listen to the trainer. Also the Elephant Orchestra has rider
in their back so they will can control the Elephant if they will be out of
the ensemble playing of the orchestra. th
