INTRODUCTION

Indonesia and Malaysia have similar cultural roots because of their

geographical location. Both countries rely on the role of youth as the pillar
of innovation to accelerate the progress of the countries. The youth will
take an important role during the demography bonus where youth will be
the future leaders. The demographic bonus is an opportunity for both
countries to accelerate their progress by improving the quality of human
resources and its diplomatic relations.
The quality of youth as the leader of the future needs to be improved
through leadership and literacy, such as the interest in reading or working
through writing. These things need to be improved in welcoming
demographic bonus, where youth roles will be urgently needed to face the
challenges of globalization.
International Forum for Future Leaders (IFFL) 2018 is a platform for future
leaders to increase their productivity, to exchange insights, and to widen
networking at the international. The IFFL 2018 is an event organized by
Youth Leadership Connection (YOULEC), in collaboration with Perhimpunan
Pelajar Indonesia Malaysia (PPI Malaysia), Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia
Universiti Malaya (PPI UM), Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI)
Kuala Lumpur, and Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) Republic of
Indonesia.
