How to get to the Daejeon Immigration Office (대전출입국관리사무소)

Address: 16-8 Jungchon-dong, Jung-gu, Daejeon (대전 중구 중촌동 16-8).

It is next to the Sun Hospital (선병원 중촌점 옆).
By Bus (Route 1):

1. Go to the bus stop across the front gate of KAIST and take Bus #104.
2. Get off at the Seo-gu Bogunso (서구보건소) stop and transfer to Bus #705.
3. Get off at the Jungchondong Jumin Center bus stop (중촌동 주민센터).
4. Walk the remaining distance to the Immigration Center (map below left).

By Bus (Route 2):

1. Walk to the Yuseong Home Plus (홈플러스 유성점) stop and take Bus #108.
2. Get off at the Jungchondong Jumin Center bus stop (중촌동 주민센터).
3. Walk the remaining distance to the Immigration Center (map below left).

By Bus (Route 3):

1. Go to the bus stop near the KAIST Clinic (outside east gate) and take Bus #604.
2. Get off at the Hansarang Apts. bus stop (한사랑아파트).
3. Walk the remaining distance to the Immigration Center (map above right).

By Taxi

1. Catch a taxi and ask for a ride to the Immigration Office (or the Sun Hospital in Jung-
gu). Show the taxi driver:

“대전출입국관리사무소
대전 출입국관리사무소로 가주세요.
가주세요.중촌동
중촌동선병원
선병원옆에
옆에있습니다”
있습니다.

2. The trip should cost about 9,000 won

If you want to take a taxi back to campus, note that there is a taxi stand between the
Immigration Center and the Sun Hospital, as shown below.
