“Past Perfect and Future Perfect Tenses”

1. Past Perfect Tense: I had played monopoly until I read poems.


Future Perfect Tense: I will have played monopoly until I read poems.

2. Past Perfect Tense: I ate too much because I had started binging on
wholesale meat.
Future Perfect Tense: I will eat too much because I will have started binging
on wholesale meat.

3. Past Perfect Tense: He said he had stolen cookies from the cookie jar.
Future Perfect Tense: He will say he will have stolen cookies from the cookie
jar.

4. Past Perfect Tense: Shaniqua did not have any produce left because she had
thrown her groceries near the river.
Future Perfect Tense: Shaniqua will not have any produce left because she
will have thrown her produce near the river.

5. Past Perfect Tense: Amarylliso had finished killing himself with cyanide by
the time the police arrived.
Future Perfect Tense: Amarylliso will have finished killing himself with
cyanide by the time the police arrive.

6. Past Perfect Tense: Adrian had skinned the chauvinist pigs before he got
back to work.
Future Perfect Tense: Adrian will have skinned the chauvinist pigs before he
gets back to work.
7. Past Perfect Tense: The lunatics had harvested all of Adrian’s organs by the
time the sun rose on his limp and lifeless body.
Future Perfect Tense: The lunatics will have harvested all of Adrian’s organs
by the time the sun rises on his limp and lifeless body.

8. Past Perfect Tense: By the time everyone travelled to the market, Alessio
had eaten everything.
Future Perfect Tense: By the time everyone travels to the market, Alessio
will have eaten everything.

9. Past Perfect Tense: Mother Hen had roasted Father Rooster before the
gullible chicks arrived.
Future Perfect Tense: Mother Hen will have roasted Father Rooster before
the gullible chicks arrive.

10.Past Perfect Tense: I had seen the animal before you asked me.
Future Perfect Tense: I will have seen the animal before you ask me.
