"MASTER HAND". "START" main hydraulic pump Select uncoiler unwind "OVER" or "UNDER". Uncoiler motor "ON", Straightener motor "ON". Feed motor "ON". Set all coil/stock guides for correct width (pinch roll and feeder). Coil rack "RIGHT" or "LEFT" to desired position. Remove banding running thru 1.0. of coil (do not remove bands around coil 0.D.). "RAISE" hold down roll. "RETRACT" peeler. “RETRACT" mandrels. “UNCOTLERS MAXIMUM OUT". Move cart under coil. "RAISE" cart cylinder to lift coil off rack. Move cart "FORWARD" to its maximum in position. “LOWER cart Lift to ‘*s maximum down position. CENTER" coil lift. Move uncoilers "IN" against coil (back slightly off to allow 1/4" clearance). 053-119 OPERATION CONTINUATION OF COLL LOADING PROCEDURE: 21, “EXPAND uncoiler mandrels and adjust cart lift cylinder to compensate for coil expansion. 22, "LOWER" cart lift cylinder and move cart out of loading position. 23, Genter coil with center line of machine. Jog uncoiler "FORWARD" until leading edge of coil is just beyond hold dow roll. (‘This prevents coil from unwrapping when bands are cut.) 4, Cat and remove outside bands. 5. Position peeler point ageinst coil and jog coiler forverd using peeler point co thread leading edge of coil onto peeler table and into peeler rolls 6. "CLOSE" pecler rolls. 7. "RETRACT peeler point. 8. OPEN" shear pinch rolls. 9. Jog uncoiler "FORWARD" threading material into pinch coll. 10. "CLOSE" shear pinch rolls. Li. “RATSE" hold dow. . 12. Hold down drive "OFF". 13. Crop shear “TRIP, 20, "306" scrap conveyor to unload cut strip. 21. Repeat steps 17, 19, end 20 until material is satisfactory to thread into entry pinch rolls. 22. (See note A oz B) Note: A - If washer section is to be used, proceed with steps 5-9 then proceed with step Select brush roll "CLOSE". "RAISE" bottom brush roll. "LOWER" top brush roll. Select brush roll "AUTO". Washer “ON, Note: B - If washer section is not used, proceed with step 10. “RAISE top brush roll to maximum open position. LOWER" bottom brush roll to maximum open position. Leveller "THREAD FORWARD" jog material forward thru brush rolls and into wringer rolls. "CLOSE" weiager roils. Jog leveller "FORWARD" jog material forward thru flex rolls and into entry pinch rolls. entry pinch rolls. Select flex roli "ADIUST" positicn. (optional) "RAISE flex roll to desired position. (uptional) Adjust leveller rolls (see adjustment section). Jog leveller "FORWARD". "RAISE" thread table. 687 053-124 OPERATION RUN SET-UP PROCEDURES: 1, Select desired part number in universal systems controller. 2. Depress "BATCH RESET". Note: "BATCH COMPLETE" light must be off for feed to run in automatic mode, See stacker set-up procedure. 4. Conveyor belts "ON". Depress “FEED TRIP HAND". 6. Depress “FEED TRIP", Neve: In the feed trip "HAND" position, the feed will index the material forward the amount entered into the length controller each time the press eyclus and the "FEED TRIP" pushbutton is depressed. 7. Depress feed trip "RESET", 8. Depress feed crip "AUTO". Note: In the feed trip "AUTO" position, the feed will index the material forward the emount entered into the length controller each time the press cycles. 687 053-125 OPERATION PALLET LOADING PROCEDURE (MANUAL): 1. B 3. 1287 Select stacker "HAND". Select pallet loader "HAND". Load “SMAUL: and “LARGE pallets (up to five (5) maximum) in respective storage stations. Select "SMALL PALLET LOAD". (optional) Depress "RAISE SMALL PALLET". Pallet lift will raise 8", forks will extend and lift will raise an additional 2" to allow lower pellet to be conveyed to tilt table. Depress "RAISE LARGE PALLET". Forks will extend and pallet Lift will raise 2" to allow conveyor to move under large pallets. Note: If large pallet is to be used, opposite procedure is required in steps 4, 5, and 6. "Joc" pallet conveyor to convey pallet to tilt table. “RAISE” tilt table to load pallet on stack unload conveyor. Select "LOAD" pallet to load pallet on stack lift. "LOWER" tilt table. 053-126 OPERA TON STACKER SET-UP PROCEDURES 1. START" stacker hydraulic pump. 2. Belt conveyors "ON". 3. Servo controi "ON". 4. Position 6 drives "ON". 5. Magnets "ON". 6. Select stacker "HAND". 7. Check to see that all positioning drives (frontstop/backstop, back side guide and front side guide) are veferenced. If not select drive to be referenced and depress "REFERENCE" pushbutton. 8, "POSITION" front side guide. 9. “POSTTION" back side guide. 10. "POSITION" frontstop/backstop. 11, "POSITION" frontstop angle. 12, "POSITION" backstop angle. ‘ 13. "POSITION" sheet drop probe. 14. "POSITION" extension conveyor. Note: “EXTENTION CONVEYOR-DIE CHANGE" pushbutton automatically retracts conveyor to maximum retracted position. 15, Select tamp "ON" (optional). Note: "SIDE" tamping, "BACK" camping or "BOTH" may be selected. 16. "SHIFT" stack lift righe or left as required. (optional) Note: This must be done with stack lift down and no pallet in piace. 1287 053-127 OPERATION CONTINUATION STACKER SET-UP PROCEDURE: 1. 18. 19. 22. Bs 29. 30, 1287 Select pallet loader "HAND". Select pallet "LARGE" or "SMALL". Select pallet "LOAD" to load pallet on stack Lift. Rote: With pallet loader in "AUTO" and stacker in "AUTO", pallet will load onto stack lift and raise to stacking position automatically each time stack is mloaded and pallet is preset at load station. "RAISE" stack life. "JOG" conveyors forward conveying a cut sheet into stacking area. Note: "TAKE AWAY" conveyor, "MAGNETIC' conveyor or "BOTH" conveyors may be selécted when jogging. "RELEASE" sheet. Adjust backstop angle plus or minus if requir Adjust frontstop angle plus or minus if required. "SHIFT" backstop left or right as required. "RESET" stack count. Select pallet loader "AUTO". Select stacker "AUTO". Continue with feed cun set-up procedure. Observe sheets striking backstop. "LENGTHEN" or "SHORTEN" drop point to allow sheet to “strike upper half of backstop. The drop point will be changed by the amoun entered in the USC each time the "LENGTHEN" or "SHORTEN" pushbutton is depressed Not: 053-128 "OPERATION" F COIL, NO L002, & FAULT PROCEDURE End of Coil bypass Note: At end of coil, "END OF COIL BYPASS" may be depressed. This will allow straightener to remain ia auto until all material in loop is used up. No loop bypass Will allow feed to remain in auto until there is no material in the feed. Not: Fault reset. Note: After a fault occurs (and is corrected) the Fault reset mst be depressed to clear the fault. If the fault is still present, the "FAULT" light will continue to flash diagnostic display. The diagnostic display will correspond to the "FAULT" lights. Tt will display faults and also incorcect line procedures. 036-038
