APPOINTMENT ON CONTRACT BASIS
Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd., (KPCL) a Government of Karnataka Undertaking,
established in the year 1970, is a winner of several prestigious national awards for high
performance. Now, the Corporation intends to appoint the Railway Liaison Officer on
contract basis (12 months) for the works of smooth transportation of Coal through
railway to Raichur Thermal Power Station(RTPS), Shaktinagar.

Mode of Payment:

 In the form of Crossed DD.

  Crossed Demand Draft should be drawn on any Nationalized Bank &
in favour of KARNATAKA POWER CORPORATION LTD., payable at
BENGALURU.


2. Age: Between 60 and 65 years.

3. Consolidated Monthly Remuneration: Rs.60,000/- subject to deduction of income tax as
per rules.
 Selected candidate will be eligible for TA/DA as admissible to an officer of the
rank of Asst. Executive Engineer for the journeys required to be performed for
discharging his duties.
 Conveyance allowance of Rs.75/- each way subject to a maximum of Rs.150/- per
day.
 Reimbursement of maximum amount of Rs.1000/- per month towards
entertainment expenditure as per actuals & subject to production of relevant
vouchers.
 Telephone bill shall be paid limited to Rs.1500/- per month.
 Selected candidate shall report to ED[RTPS] at shakthinagar, Raichur and his place
of work will be at Secunderabad.

5. Verification of Documents:

A. Candidates called for document verification shall produce the following in

ORIGINALS with 2 sets of self-attested Xerox copies and 02 latest
passport size photos.
i. Marks card of SSLC/equivalent qualification.
ii. Degree Certificate and marks cards of all years/semesters.
iii. Experience certificate.

6. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates attending Document verification and

Personal interview.
7. General Instructions:

a. KPCL reserves the right to cancel this process in part or full at any stage without
assigning any reason.
b. This contract appointment is purely temporary and the candidates will not have
any claim/right for permanent employment
c. The candidates who leave the service in the middle of contract period will have to
give 3 months notice in-advance.
