Biodiversity describes the whole range of the different varieties of

living things and systems on this earth. Biodiversity includes animal

species, plant species, genes, ecosystems and landscapes. Everyone
knows that the NUMBER of species comING under extinction threat is
increasing everyday so the maintainINING biodiversity is a way to
improve and solve this issue. I think it's not too late for us to save our
biodiversity
Firstly, government could invest in the research and preservation
efforts of universities, zoos, and botanical institutes. Government also
should prevent indiscriminate logging to maintain natural habitat of
animals. This is necessary to save some species on the verge of
extinction by controlling the reproduction and fertility rate of the flora
and fauna. Besides, reducing water pollution also can create a great
relieve on water species. For example, every year a million gallonS of
SEWAGE HAVE BEEN discharged into the rivers and seaS. That’S THE
reason the sea IS BECOMING MORE AND MORE POLLUTED and affect
to underwater life. In my view, goverNment should build sewer
treatment facilities to improve water pollution. Moreover, global
warming is one of THE reasons for extinction of animals and plants.
Therefore, people should cut down ON CO2, the main ELEMENT OF
GLOBAL warming. For instanCE, we should use public transport and
cut down ON motorbike USING. GoverNment should ALSO encourage
to use green energies such as wind, solar or WAVE energy.
Finally, in my opinion, education is the best solution to maintain
biodiversity because EDUCATION can highlight the vital roleS of
biodiversity and the effect of it to our life. Education is the best
method in improving the awareness of the community in issues which
require both governments and individuals to handle this issue
together.
In short, it is not too late for US to improve this situation, with small
action, we can prevent the extinction of a lot of species and maintain
the biodiversity.
