Brunei

Indonesia

increased to 306. The number of recovered patients has reached 282.

COVID-19 cases in Indonesia have risen by 337 to 3,293 with the total number of deaths also increasing
to 280. The number of recovered patients has reached 252.

The number of cases has risen to 2,956 with the death toll also increasing to 240. The number of
patients recovered is 222.

The capital Jakarta will impose large-scale social restrictions including closures of schools and
workplaces to curb the spread of the virus.

The number of new infections has increased by 247 to 2,738. The number of deaths has increased by 12
to 221. The number of recovered cases also increased to 204.

Indonesia has approved a request by the Jakarta administration to impose further large-scale social
restrictions on the capital. The restrictions include limiting religious events, defence-related activities,
socio-cultural activities, and the closing of schools and workplaces.

Positive cases in Indonesia have increased as of April 6 by 218 to 2,491. The death toll also increased to
209 and the number of those recovered reached 192. Out of the total number of cases, 1,232 were
located in the capital Jakarta.

The number of cases has increased by 181 to 2,273. The number of deaths also increased by seven to
198.

total of 150 have recovered.

billion) to fight the pandemic.

Laos

18 people are now positive for COVID-19.

The country has 16 cases.

Laos has now recorded 10 cases.

The government has closed all international checkpoints to stop passengers from exiting and entering
the country. The country has confirmed eight cases of COVID-19.

The country has recorded six cases of COVID-19.

Laos has recorded its first two cases of COVID-19. The two include a 28-year-old male hotel worker and
a 36-year-old female tour guide.

The government will postpone the 11th National Sports Games.

The US government has provided personal protective equipment to Laos which includes 440 protective
goggles, 1,500 surgical gowns, and 220 face shields, along with biohazard disposal bags, aprons, N95
face masks, safety boxes, gloves, and hand sanitizer supplies.

The Laos Ministry of Commerce has set a ceiling for the prices of facemasks; the retail price of three-
layer masks cannot exceed 25,000 kip (US$2.82) for a box of 50, while a single mask must not be sold for
more than 1,000 kip. (US$11 cents).

were also two new deaths, raising the total number of fatalities to 67.
