Anglo Saxon Age

Anglo Saxon Age is also known as Old English Literature. The period of this age starts from 565 to 1100.
The Anglo Saxons were made up of three tribes who come through the North sea route. These are
Angels, Saxons and Jutes. The Anglo Saxon age comprises about 600 years. In that age Beowulf is the
most important work. It was an epic poem that is written about a young writer. Who fought for his
people in Geatland. This epic poem is all about the heroic deeds and the warrior was German in the 5th
and 6th centuries. Beowulf's poem consists of 300 lines.

Norman Conquest:  Norman in England was invented in the year 1066. There was the army that consists
of Norman, Breton and the French that was lead by William the Conqueror. In that time the French
language was brought in England and the French was adopted as national and parliament language.
These people ware sea rovers.
Anglo-Saxon society

. those people lived in tribal groups with their warriors.

. Kings emerged as society developed

ANGLO-SAXON CIVILIZATION
They developed their people as heroic ideal and set traditional heroes. They encourage their men very
wonderful and they had unity . they trained men whatever tribe they come from. They were widely
known as strong and brave physically and mentally both. They had a passion for creations and they
produced many beautiful pieces, such as Brooches and Bracelets of exquisite design.
