Q: Analyze the given Brochure with respect to traits of technical Writing and Seven C’s of
Communications.

Brochures are the written form of communication for the information and persuasion the Audience,
certainly based on that information.

Seven C’s of Communication:


1) Clarity

The first C is the clarity, which doesn’t means to clear in the


simple way as in daily life. But it refers to the Communication
clearness by using precise and familiar words.

It can also achieved by constructing effective sentence and


paragraph. It is further divided into four main categories, which we
are going to describe with respect the given Brochure.

i. Length

The given brochure fulfills the first category of clarity.


Because it require the limits of sentences from 17-20 or it can be 30.

ii. Unity

It means to have the united meaning of the sentence


thoroughly or it refer to a certain idea and result. So the given brochure
also fulfills the second category of clarity. It has single idea per sentence and
also having the supporting ideas but in other sentences.

iii. Coherence

The given brochure is also coherence because it is high lightening


the symptoms, causes and effects of the corona virus. So, the brochure has
the unity between ideas, sentences and paragraphs, means to coherence.

iv. Emphasis

It means to high light the main idea of the paragraph. The given
brochure also fulfills the fourth category of Clarity because it has proper
Headings, Graphs, Underlines and also the colored fonts and Paragraphs.

2) Conciseness

Our brochure is properly concise with all respect because it save time and expense of both
reader and writer. It is not extra wordy sentences, also having the material related to Corona virus,
without repetition of words.

3) Completeness

The brochure is also complete because it has complete information with all respect of its
subject. It has provided all necessary information.

4) Concreteness

Concreteness means to the point or information with


solid and real based. Concreteness follows the four Rules, that
are fulfilled by our Brochure, that are;

i. The Brochure contains the specific facts and figures, the


important related information only.
ii. The Brochure is also in Active voice, in active form.
iii. All the words in the Brochure are vivid and image
building words.
iv. The Brochure is also in accurate form that means to be in
complete form (one of 7 C).
5) Consideration

The Brochure is 100% fulfill this C of the Seven C’s of


Communication. In all of the sentences, where the attitude is
used is the “YOU” Attitude instead of “I”.

6) Courtesy

The given Brochure also fulfills this C, because there is sincerely tactfulness, appreciativeness,
expressions of respect and nothing like discriminatory.

Correctness

The Brochure also in accordance with the last C of


the seven C’s of communication because all the given
information’s are correct in accordance of the NATIONAL
website. It has a proper base and a platform.

Traits in Technical Writing

There are five basic traits/Objectives in technical writing that are described, in accordance with the
given Brochure, as follow;

1) Clarity
The first trait in technical writing is Clarity.it is also
described in & C’s of communication. So we will
continue without discussing it.
2) Conciseness
In this trait in technical writing, the limitations of the
sentences and paragraphs are considered. Also it is
similar to the previous in seven C’s of communications.
Our Brochure is properly concise with all of its respects.
3) Accessible Document Design

This trait in technical writing refers to the Format, use


of Graphics, Different Font Formatting options, White
Spaces and Italics and APA style in your Brochure. So
the given Brochure is also in Accessible Document
Design.

4) Audience Recognition
It is necessary for achieving the main purpose of brochure. The Given brochure is very
straight forward in this sense (Audience Recognition) because it is stating the benefit directly.
i. Multi-Cultural Audience.
ii. The given brochure is in the form of Multi-Cultural
Audience. Because it include the peoples of
several Countries.

5) Accuracy

The Accuracy is also synonym of correctness. It is also


in three types; Document Accuracy, Style Accuracy and Technical
Accuracy.

Our given Brochure is Correct and Accurate in all these three


respect.
