From above table, we will get the value of b and a, so will find the formula for estimating the
relationship the both variables. The value of a and b as follow :

from the value of a, and b, we find the formula for estimating wherther independent variable
(hour) and dependent variable (Statistic Score) as follow :

Y’ = a + bX
Y’ = 4,88 + 3,02X
Based on the equation Y’ = a +bX, we will determine the partition of variant by making the
second the help table as follow :

From the above table, we have found the sum square of regression (SS Regression) and Sum
Square Residual (SS Residual) so that we can find the Sum Square Total (SS Total ) with
formula or equation as follow :

Ho : there is no effect hour of learning variable on statistics score variable

Ha : there is effect hour of learning variable on statistics score variable

Criteria for rejecting Ho :

Ho will be rejected when the F-value moe than F-Table

Ho will be received when the F- Value less than F-table

From the analysis results we got the f- value was 18,83 and F-table was 4,38, so that
conclussion of this care was rejected Ho where hour of learninggives effect on statistics score
