Bridon Wire Rope Dyform 34LR / 34LR-PI
Features: Extremely strong low rotation Crane Hoist Rope. Very Low Rotation.
Superior bending fatigue life when compared with conventional low rotation ropes.
Excellent resistance to crushing and abrasion particuarly on multi layer drums resulting
from the compacted strands.
Reduced elongation results from increased steel content and the Dyform process.
Optional plastic impregnation to further extend fatigue life, improve structural stability .
and resistance to corrosion.
Material: High Carbon Steel
Marking: On Termination ID and CE mark

Bridon Wire rope Dyform 6 / 6-PI

Features: Strong High Performance 6 Strand Crane Rope
Superior bending fatigue life when compared with conventional six strand crane ropes.
Excellent resistance to crushing and abrasion particuarly on multi layer coiling resulting
from the Dyform strands. Reduced elongation results from increased steel content and the
Dyform process.Optional plastic impregnation to further extend fatigue life, improve struc-
tural stability and resistance to corrosion.

by extensive field experience.
Superior bending fatigue life when compared with conventional low rotation ropes - confirmed
by laboratory testing and field performance
Excellent resistance to crushing and abrasion resulting from the overall compactness and
toughness of the rope and the Compacted strands - recommended when multi-layer spooling
is involved.
Reduced elongation results from increased steel content and the Compaction of the strands.
RopeTex Crane Ropes are lubricated with the very latest High Performance crane rope lubri-
cants to give excellent corrosion protection, fatigue life combined with low fling off.

a plastic layer between the IWRC and 8 compacted outer strands.
Features:
• Ropetex 8PI has a high breaking load and good structural stability
• Ropetex 8PI is fully lubricated and made both of galvanized and ungalvanized wires
• Ropetex 8PI is suitable for multi layer spooling
• Ropetex 8PI has a good resistance against drum crushing
• Ropetex 8PI should not be used with a swivel.

construction provides an excellent combination of flexibility, longevity and abrasion resistance.
Designed for tough working environments it excels where damage is an issue. The oval
geometry of the strands allows for optimised distribution of pressure on drum and sheaves,
resulting in reduced wear and abrasion.

S-505 Steel Swaging Sleeve

General:
• For Flemish eye wire rope splicing.
• Designed for low temperature toughness.
• Resists cracking when swaged (equals or exceeds stainless steel sleeves).
• Special processed low carbon steel.
• “COLD TUFF”® for better swageability.
• Can be stamped for identification after swaging without concern for fractures when
following these directions.
• Use round corner stamps to a maximum depth of 0.015 in. (1/64). The area for
stamping should be on the side of the sleeve in the plane of the sling eye, and no
less than 0.250 in. (1/4) from either end of the sleeve.

Wire Rope Clamps

Wire Rope Clamp Eureka
General: Wire rope clamp is approved for lifting if assembly is carried out according to in-
struction manual. The wire rope clamp is to be used with 6 and 8 strand steel wire ropes
with steel or fibre core with tensile strength up to 1960 N/mm2. Correctly mounted the
assembling will stand 80% of the rope's minimum breaking load (MBL).
Design: 2101-2102 casted, 2103-2108 dropforged.
Finish: 2101-2102 zinc-plating, 2103-2108 hot dip galvanizing.
Wire ropes for general applications with fiber or steel core with max strenght of 1960
N/mm2. Not for use with compacted or hammered wire ropes. It is not recommended to
use plastic covered ropes for lifting purposes with wire rope clamps.
In case the clamps half-parts tangent each other when tightening the screws, a
smaller EUREKA wire clamp shall be used. Follow the fitting instructions in the user
manual before use.

Wedge Sockets
Crosby Wedge Socket CL with Wedge S-421T
Features:
• Pin diameter and jaw opening allows wedge and socket to be used in conjunction
with open swage and spelter sockets
• Secures the tail or “dead end” of the wire rope to the wedge, thus eliminates loss or
“Punch out” of the wedge
• Eliminates the need for an extra piece of rope, and is easily installed
• The TERMINATOR™ wedge eliminates the potential breaking off of the tail due to
fatigue
• The tail, which is secured by the base of the clip and the wedge, is left undeformed
and available for reuse

General: Quenched and tempered cast steel range with me-
chanical values (Charpy-V > 42 Joule / -20°C) for tough and low
temperature use. For wire rope diameter 6-200mm. Pin scured by
cotter pin or bolt, nut and cotter.
Optional is a flange connection for use with a bend stifferener.
All spelter sockets have a 100% efficiency on wire rope MBL.
Material: Quenched and tempered cast steel.

Quick Release Link for Pear Socket Nemag

General: The Nemag Quick Release Link has been balanced and perfected to become the most
reliable, quickest and safest coupling method for ropes and chains. The contact surface of the
C-section has been hardened, which considerably lengthens the life span. The construction of
the locking piece ensures reliable functioning; even under severe circumstances. The locking
pieces are interchangeable.
Option: Nemag also supplies a key especially designed for the Quick Release Link. This key
has a hexagonal head that fits into the keyhole of the locking piece. The horizontal handle
provides sufficient grip to be able to open or close any locking piece with one short move-
ment. The sharp end of the handel can be used to remove dirt on the .
outside (of the keyhole).
Remark: The working load is the recommended maximum load for grabbing
operations when Quick Release Links and Rope Pear Sockets are passing
over a special cable sheave. For other applications a safety factor in line with
official international and national guidelines has to be adhered to.

Rope Pear Socket Nemag
General: The Nemag Rope Pear Socket is designed to, in combination with the Nemag Quick
Release Link, smoothly pass over cabel sheaves. The life span of the Nemag Rope Pear
Socket generally surpasses that of the steel wire rope.
The Rope Pear socket can be fitted by casting with a 2-component casting mass without the
need for outside assistance, and ensures a strong connection. Nemag Rope Pear Sockets are
suited to any type of steel wire rope.

Wire Rope Pulling Clamp LMG

General: The cable grip ”Little Mule” is a device for gripping, pulling and tensioning
wire rope and cables up to a tensile strength of 1770N/mm2. The parallel jaws do not
cause damage to the wire rope. A special spring-loaded guide prevent the grip from
dropping off the wire rope. The model LMG II-X is supplied with grooved jaws and is
suitable for wire ropes with a tensile strength of up to 1960Nmm2.
Tighten clamp ”Little Mule” does not work on greased wire..

Must not be used for lifting and hoisting purpose.

wire ropes in active heave compensation (AHC) systems, the lubricant

onto decks, preventing a safety risk.
