2) Jack’s question
 Hi, my name is jack and I am thirteen. I really miss my friends, that’s the worst about staying at
home! I kind of miss school as well. I like school and I am trying to keep up with my school work.
The teacher sends us lots of stuff and It’s really good. I enjoy carrying out research tasks. I have
two brothers and both of them are younger than me. We don’t usually play together, but we do
now. We have a kick about every afternoon at the garden. Normally my dad doesn’t let us play
football at the garden. But well, times are different now, aren’t they.in the evenings, we play
video games and watch a bit of TV. It’s not to bad at the moment. But I hope things get back to
normal soon.

*Her exams are cancelled so she couldn’t revise at the last minute and do well in the exams.

*Her marks will be awarded after the exams on September.

*I am chilling: on my social media lot and hiding in my bedroom.
 Why is she hiding in her bedroom a lot ?
*Her mum keeps asking her to help out with the housework and she hates housework.
 What does she miss the most ?
*She missis her friends.

5) Mark’s question
Hi , im Mark! I’m seventeen. I’ve got blond hair and blue eyes. I’m wearing my red T-shirt ,jeans
and trainers. I’ve got a computer , my tablet and my mobile phones, so I’m OK about this
lockdown. I’m keeping in touch with all my friends and I’m always posting on my social media
sites. I do my schoolwork every afternoon; I spend about two hours on it and this is enough. I
live in a flat with my mum and our cat. This will be over soon; it’s not to bad.

 What time do you get up, these days ?
*I often get up around 6: 40 in the morning
 How long do you spend playing video games ?
*I’m not sure, around 3 hours in total.
 How long do you spend doing you homework ?
*I spend a long time, as long as it takes to finish my homework.
 What is the quality of the work your teachers are sending ? could they do better or are they
making a good job of it ?
*as of right now, my teachers are giving me a hand full of tasks but their all good quality.
I couldn’t agree more that their doing a fantastic job as a teacher.
 Are you able to do some exercise every day ? describe the exercise you take.
*yes, I’m able to do exercise everyday that is educational because my teachers are always
providing me and my friends with good learning materiel.
 Are you learning anything new ?
*I am learning something, but E-learning is less effective than face to face learning. [I miss
school]
 Are you reading any good books ?
*I’m reading non-fiction books that a can agree myself isn’t that interesting. But what can I do.
 What do you miss most about school ?
*the most I miss about school is that we cannot interact with other people.
 Are you getting well with other family members, or are there tensions ?
*can’t really deny that me and my siblings never fought once during this pandemic, but we tend
to understand each other and create that wonderful, interactive mood amongst us.
 Is there anything you could do to be more helpful at home ?
*I could help my parents in the kitchen with cooking and cleaning up.
 Is there anything you can do to make sure this lockdown rime works out ok for you ?
*I just have to learn something from the school textbook as I am seeing that the school won’t be
opening anytime sooner.
