(AM EN D M EN T) ORDER, 2018
Citation 1. This Order may cited as the Public Service (Standing
Orders for the Public Service. 2009) (Amendment) Order, 2018

and shall be read as one with the Standing Orders for the Public
Service, 2009 hereinafter referred to as the “principal Order.”
Amendment of 2. ^ ie Order is amended by deleting standing
standing order order F. 47 and substituting for it the following:
F.47 i
“Determina- F.47.-(l) Where only the year and not
tionofage the actual date of birth of a public servant
has been recorded, his age shall be
determined by deeming his date of birth to
he the first day of July ,of that, year, where
only the month and year has been
recorded, the date of birth shall be deemed
to be the sixteenth day of that month or
fifteenth in the case of February.
(2) Where there is ambiguity on the
date of birth of a public servant or where
there is disagreement between an
employer and the public servant with
regard to his date of birth, the official
record that discloses the most old age shall
be considered as an accurate date of birth
of such public servant.”
