This novel tells about the love story of Milea. Milea is a new student transferring from
Jakarta. And as he walked towards school, he met a schoolmate, a fortune teller. The fortune
teller said that later they would meet in the canteen. At first Milea ignored the fortune teller,
but every day the fortune teller always bothered her. Inevitably, Milea began to find out, the
fortune teller's man named Dilan.

One day, when Dilan followed Milea home with an angkot, he said, "Milea, you are

made Milea's heart pound, maybe she was shocked by Dilan's words. Milea silently heard the

Gradually, over time Milea and Dilan became close. Milea knows a few things about dilan
from Wati, Dilan's cousin who is in his class. Milea School in Bandung was chosen to be a
participant of TVRI's Quiz, some students who were not participants were encouraged to join
in encouraging their friends who were competing. Milea was one of them, and in Jakarta he
had planned to meet with Beni, his girlfriend. Milea has been waiting for Beni who promised
to come to TVRI, but Beni never came. Finally, Milea goes to eat with Nandan and Wati.
That's when Beni came and got angry seeing Milea eating with another man. Their
relationship ended.

Novel ini menceritakan tentang kisah cinta Milea. Milea adalah seorang murid baru pindahan
dari Jakarta. Dan di saat ia berjalan menuju sekolah, ia bertemu dengan seorang teman satu
sekolahnya, seorang peramal. Peramal itu mengatakan bahwa nanti mereka akan bertemu di
kantin. Awalnya Milea tidak menghiraukan laki-laki peramal itu, tapi setiap hari laki-laki
peramal tersebut selalu mengganggunya. Mau tidak mau, Milea mulai mencari tahu, laki-laki
peramal itu bernama Dilan.

Suatu hari, saat Dilan mengikuti Milea pulang dengan angkot ia berkata, “Milea, kamu
cantik, tapi aku belum mencintaimu. Enggak tahu kalau sore. Tunggu aja”. Perkataan Dilan
itu membuat hati Milea berdebar-debar, mungkin ia kaget atas ucapan Dilan. Milea diam
mendengar ucapan itu, ia juga memikirkan Beni, pacarnya yang ada di Jakarta.
Dilan mendekati Milea dengan cara yang tidak biasa, mungkin itu yang membuat Milea
selalu memikirkannya. Dilan memberikan coklat kepada Milea melalui tukang pos, Dilan
membawa Bi Asih untuk memijiti Milea saat sedang sakit, Dilan memberikan hadiah Teka
Teki Silang pada Milea sebagai hadiah ulang tahun dengan sebuah tulisan “SELAMAT
ULANG TAHUN, MILEA.INI HADIAH UNTUKMU, CUMA TTS. TAPI SUDAH KUISI
SEMUA. AKU SAYANG KAMU. AKU TIDAK MAU KAMU PUSING KARENA
HARUS MENGISINYA. DILAN”

Lambat laun, seiring berjalannya waktu Milea dan Dilan menjadi akrab. Milea mengetahui
beberapa hal tentang dilan dari Wati, sepupu Dilan yang sekelas dengannya. Sekolah Milea di
Bandung terpilih menjadi peserta Cerdas Cermat TVRI, beberapa siswa yang bukan peserta
dianjurkan untuk ikut memberikan semangat buat teman-temannya yang sedang berlomba.
Milea salah satunya, dan di Jakarta ia sudah berencana untuk bertemu dengn Beni, pacarnya.
Milea sudah lama menunggu Beni yang berjanji untuk datang ke TVRI, namun Beni tak
kunjung datang. Akhirnya, Milea pergi makan bersama Nandan dan Wati. Saat itulah Beni
datang dan marah-marah melihat Milea makan bersama laki-laki lain. Hubungan mereka pun
berakhir.

Lalu bagaimana dengan Dilan? Akankah Dilan berhasil menjadi seseorang yang mampu
menjaga Milea?

KEUNGGULAN NOVEL

Keunggulan novel terdapat pada isi novel yang kebanyakan adalah cerita tentang percakapan.
Hal ini memudahkan pembaca yang tidak terlalu menyukai permainan kata yang terkesan
berbelit-belit. Bahasa yang digunakan penulis juga merupakan bahasa santai dan
mengundang tawa.

KELEMAHAN NOVEL

Kelemahan novel terdapat pada gurauan-gurauan yang digunakan dalam beberapa

percakapan. Karena novel ini menceritakan tentang kisah cinta pada tahun 1990, percakapan
dan gurauan yang digunakan juga masih berkaitan dengan tahun 1990. Hal ini merupakan
sebuah kesulitan tersendiri bagi pembaca yang bukan merupakan angkatan 1990.
