Dedicated to my brother Clayton who
died at age 14 on April 19, 2017
Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or
whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If
I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if
I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art
there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning,
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the
sea; 10 Even there shall thy hand lead
me, and thy right hand shall hold me. 11 If
I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me;
even the night shall be light about me. 12
Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee;
but the night shineth as the day: the
darkness and the light are both alike to
thee. ~ Psalm 139:7-12
The heavens declare the glory
of God; and the firmament
sheweth his handywork.
Psalm 19:1

Everywhere he looked he
saw God.
God was invisible…

(Can you see the wind? No. But you can know it is
there by the things it does.)

Would you like to use the space below

to list some things God does?

...Yet
like the
wind Ben
could see
God by
the
things
God did.
When Ben looked north
he saw God.
When Ben looked south he
saw God.

Everywhere Ben looked he

saw God.
When Ben had fun He knew
God was there by his side.
I will both lay me
down in peace,
and sleep: for
thou, LORD, only
makest me dwell
in safety.
Psalm 4:8

When Ben went to bed, he did

not need to be scared because he
knew God was there with him.

(Are you scared when you go

to bed? Are you afraid of the
dark? Did you know God is
with you always?)
Some days Ben was a good boy and
loved to always be able to see God and
have God by his side. (This picture shows Ben helping
his mother, do you help your parents?)
But some days Ben
was bad and did not
like God. (Are there times
when you are bad? God still loves you
when you are bad.)
Some days it
was sunny.
Some days it
was rainy.
But everyday
Ben could see
God.
Ben can always see God. Did
you know God is everywhere at
once? You too can always see
God. Try seeing God at work
around you and in your life.

The End
Everywhere I Look
Verse 1:
Lord everywhere I look I see your face
Where can I look and not see you?
When I look up I see you in the clouds
When I look down I see you in the dirt
Chorse:
O where O where O Lord can I look and not see your face?
In every direction I see your face God
Can I look north Lord and not see You? No!
Can I look south Lord and not see You? No!
Can I look east Lord and not see You? No!
Can I look west Lord and not see You? No!
Cause Everywhere I look Lord I see your face
Verse 2:
I can see you in the north and south the east and the west
On the highest mountains Lord I can see you
And in the lowest valleys I know you are there
Because I can see you
Ending:
You are everywhere O God at once
And I can see your face everywhere I look
- N.C.R.
Activity of older people: Try
rearranging the following words as
many times as possible, while yet
keeping the meaning of the
phrase.

Lord everywhere I look I see your face.

Everywhere I Look (story behind the
song, for grownups)
“This is an awesome song, but even more amazing when you know the story behind
it”

After my brother died we could still see his face when we looked around. He was
gone so we could not literally see him, but we were still able to see him in our minds
eyes doing the things he loved.

When visitors would come to our place they would ask questions like: who did that?,
whose is that?, or who made that?. The answer most of the time was Clayton. Even
though he was dead, he still seemed to be popping up everywhere.

Being able to see him everywhere like that inspired me to write this song. I was
originally going to write it about Clayton. But I wanted a song everyone could
understand, so I decided to write a song about being able to see God everywhere.

"Even though we cannot literally see God, We can see his artwork and handiwork
everywhere."

“Like the wind, God is invisible, but also like the wind we can know that God is real
by the things He does.”
Everywhere I Look Rearranged
Lord everywhere I look I see your face
Everywhere I look, Lord, I see your face
Everywhere I look I see your face Lord
I see Lord everywhere I look your face
Your face, Lord, I see everywhere I look
Lord, your face I see everywhere I look
Lord I see your face everywhere I look
I look, I see your face everywhere Lord

I have probably rearranged the above words as many times as possible,

while still keeping the meaning the same. I hope I have made my point. We
can see God's face everywhere we look.
