By : Salsabila Intan Fazira / IXC / 31

Ingredients:

- 20 Oreo cookies - 200 ml of water

- 250 g of wheat flour - 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 75 g of unsalted butter - 100 g of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar - 120 ml of whipping cream, chilled
- ½ teaspoon of salt - Cooking oil, for frying

Materials :

- Knife - Pastry bag

- 3 or more of large bowls - Saucepan
- Wooden spoon - Food processor
- Tablespoon and teaspoon - Electric hand mixer
- Plate - Frypan

Methods :

1. Start by scraping the cream from Oreo cookies, set aside in a bowl. Then, in a food
processor, crush the cookies (without cream) into fine crumbs. Place to a bowl.

2. In another bowl, combine the flour, cinnamon powder and two tablespoons of the cookie
crumbs.
3. Combine the butter, brown sugar, salt, and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil over
medium high heat. After melted, turn off the heat and add flour mixture. Stir with a
wooden spoon until a dough forms.

4. Beat the egg and vanilla extract and add to the dough. Continue stirring until
incorporated, then place the dough in a pastry bag fitted with a star tip.

5. Carefully pipe strips of dough into hot oil and fry over medium low heat for about 3 to 4
minutes. Next, transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain. Repeat until dough
remains.

6. In a bowl, mix the Oreo crumbs and sugar together, set aside.
7. In a large bowl, using an electric hand mixer, whisk the chilled whipping cream until
thick and creamy. Add the cream from Oreos and continue whisking until soft peaks
form.

8. Roll the churros in the sugar mixture to coat. Finally, place the whipped cream in a small
jar or bowl, and serve!
