Our very own Gilas has qualified for the prestigious event, but have remained winless with a record of 0-4. The Philippines has dropped its most recent game to Tunisia with a score of 67-86. Three Positive Effects: - Uniting the Filipinos’ love for basketball - Creating opportunities for those who love the sport to compete on an international level, especially our young basketball players. - Increasing the standard for professional basketball prowess to compete on an international scale. Three Negative Effects: - Internal conflicts, such as shifting blame for the underperformance of the team. - Our obsession with basketball has not helped with getting positive results. Furthermore, the abundant funding has not helped with getting positive results.
