Take a Walk

Take a walk after working on your computer or sitting.


Click on the walking picture. Each time you click on you will see different
friends walking.
Go on A Balanced Hike (Movie) Watch the explorers as they
go on a hike. They do get hungry. What do you think they brought to eat with them
on their hike?

Stop the spread of germs that can make you and others

sick!Influenza (flu) and other serious respiratory illnesses

like respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), whooping cough,

and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) are

spread by cough, sneezing, or unclean hands.

1. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.

2. Put your used tissue in the wastebasket.

3. If no tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve or elbow, not your hands.

4. You may be asked to put on a facemask to protect others.

5. Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for 20 seconds.

6. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand rub.

7. Stay home. If go outside, stay 6 feet away from others, wear a face mask.

hours of sleep each night. We'll show you some animals
and you choose which one needs more sleep — the kid or
the animal. We'll keep score so you'll know if you're a

"5-2-1-0 Healthy NH" is a statewide public education campaign to
bring awareness to the daily guidelines for nutrition and physical
activity. Its message is simple and clear and represents some of the
most important steps families can take to prevent childhood obesity:
5 Fruits and vegetables…more matters! Eat fruits and

vegetables at least 5 times a day. Limit 100% fruit juice.

2 Cut screen time to 2 hours or less a day.

1 Participate in at least one hour of moderate to vigorous

physical activity every day.

0 Restrict soda and sugar-sweetened sports and fruit


drinks. Instead, drink water and 3-4 servings/day of fat-
free/skim or 1% milk.

Coronavirus: What Kids Can Do To Stay Well

● You probably heard about the coronavirus that is making people sick. What does it
mean for you? Here are some answers from a doctor, plus tips on how to protect
yourself and help\prevent the virus from spreading.
● At all times: Try not to touch your eyes, nose, or mouth.
Sneeze or cough into the bend of your elbow, and then wash your hands.

Wash your hands well and often. Wash your hands before touching food,

after using the toilet, and after sneezing, coughing, blowing your nose.

Wash for 20 seconds with soap and water or use hand sanitizer.

If you do need to go out: Wear a cloth face mask or covering, if possible.

Stay at least 6 feet (2 meters) away from other people.

Wash your hands well when you get home.
