SARS - COV - 2 TESTS

 The test performs during a

pandemic outbreak to avoid further spread at an- early stage of
infection.
 It's a qualitative detection of SARS - COV -2 who's causing COVID -19.
 Swab sample is taken from Nasopharyngeal and Oropharyngeal, for
those who have potential contact with COVID -19 or as epidemiological
criteria for testing.
 Cobas 6800/8800 system provides a test result in three and a half hours,
96 tests in three hours a total of 384 for 6800, 960 for 8800 in eight
hours.
 It's not approved by the FDA, But it's Authorized unless authorization is
Terminated or Revoked.
 [ COV ] is a large family of viruses, cause illness from a Common Cold to
Severe diseases such as (MERS-COV) the Middle East Respiratory
Syndrome, (SARS-COV) Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome. COV-2 is a
New Strain not been identified in humans.

Signs:

Respiratory symptoms, such as ( cough - shortness of breath - difficulty

breathing) and fever.

For severe cases: Acute Respiratory Syndrome, kidney failure, death can occur.

WHO Recommendation:
Regularly handwashing, Covering mouth and nose when coughing and
sneezing, Thoroughly cooking meat and eggs.

SARS - COV-2 TEST:

It is a single-well, "dual-target assay", using Nucleic Acid (RNA). Specific

detection of SARS-COV-2 AND SARBECOVIRUS (Subgenus / Lineage B ) [ Beta
Coronavirus ] which includes all strains of SARSr-COV such as ( SARS-COV,
SARS-COV-2, Bat SL-COV-WLV1).

 Negative Results do not ''Preclude" SARS-COV-2 infection, Results

shouldn't be the "Sole Basis", Must be combined with observations,
patient history, Epidemiological information.
